  1. Prepare the pan

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Generously grease a bread loaf pan.

  2. Make the batter

    In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar with the beer until it is just blended. Spoon the dough into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top into a nice rounded form.

     

  3. Bake & butter

    Bake it for 45 to 60 minutes, until the top is browned.

    Remove the bread from the oven. Brush the top with melted butter. Remove the bread from the pan and cover it with a kitchen towel while it cools.
